Precision Profits is a division of Grimm Farms. We believe this close relationship with a “real farm” provides numerous benefits as we deliver technology that solved real-world problems. Being able to confirm first-hand the success or failure of the various tools and services we provide means a lot to many of customers. The roots of our work go back to the first yield monitor we purchased, and our frustration in trying to actually get anything of “value” out of it. Once we identified some useful processes, it only made sense to attempt to share them with some of those around us, and our businesses grew from there.

To us, precision ag is simply the ability to more precisely monitor and measure what is going on in your fields, giving you the data you need to make better decisions. A few of the specific areas we have worked with include Veris soil EC, variable-rate seeding and nitrogen, soil sampling and fertility management, hybrid analysis, and in-field crop recordkeeping.

We believe precision ag is about much more than VRT and yield monitors. The technology allows you too much better evaluate and learn from your production practices so that management decision-making can be enhanced.
